The Accessibility committee is organized as a means to help if someone is not able to attend normal AA meetings. The committee organizes volunteers who would bring AA meetings to them by other members. The most common situation if someone has recently had surgery that prohibits them from driving or being shuttled to a public AA meeting.
Additionally, with limited to no resources, the committee will also help find solutions to people who are deaf or blind. The committee reaches out to publicly listed AA meetings to determine if the meeting are handicapped accessible for those who need them.
